These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website and services offered by Shambhala Lake View Resort.

By booking, visiting, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Reservation Policy

  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • Reservation confirmation will be provided after successful booking/payment confirmation.
  • The resort reserves the right to decline or cancel reservations under exceptional circumstances.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in Time: 01:00 PM onwards
Check-out Time: 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late checkout may be chargeable and subject to availability.

3. Guest Identification

All guests must provide valid Government-approved ID proof during check-in.

The primary guest must be 18 years or older.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full or partial advance payment may be required to confirm booking.
  • Prices are subject to taxes and applicable government charges.
  • Promotional offers are subject to terms and validity.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Recommended policy for resort operations:

Standard Cancellation

  • 7 days before check-in: 100% refund (excluding payment gateway charges)
  • 3–6 days before check-in: 50% refund
  • Within 72 hours of check-in: No refund

Peak Season / Festival / Event Booking

Bookings for:

  • Long weekends
  • Festival periods
  • Kajwa Festival packages
  • Group bookings
  • Special event packages

may be non-refundable or partially refundable.

Refund timelines may take 7–14 working days depending on payment channels.

6. Occupancy Rules

  • Only registered guests are allowed inside villas/resort premises.
  • Additional guests may attract extra charges.
  • Maximum occupancy limits must be followed.

7. Resort Conduct & Behaviour

Guests are expected to maintain respectful behaviour.

The following are prohibited:

  • Illegal activities
  • Property damage
  • Harassment or misconduct
  • Disturbing other guests

Management reserves the right to ask guests to vacate without refund in case of misconduct.

8. Property Damage

Guests shall be responsible for any intentional or negligent damage caused to:

  • Villas
  • Furniture
  • Fixtures
  • Electronics
  • Swimming pool or resort property

Applicable charges may be recovered.

9. Food & Restaurant Policy

  • Outside food may be restricted in specific areas.
  • Pure vegetarian restaurant policies shall apply where applicable.
  • Guests should notify management regarding allergies or dietary restrictions.

10. Swimming Pool & Recreational Facilities

Use of swimming pool and resort amenities is at guest’s own risk.

Children must remain under adult supervision.

The resort shall not be liable for:

  • Accidents
  • Personal injury
  • Loss of belongings

11. Weather, Nature & Outdoor Environment

As a nature-based resort near hills and lakes, guests acknowledge environmental factors such as:

  • Rain
  • Insects
  • Wildlife presence
  • Natural terrain conditions

Guests are advised to follow safety instructions.

12. Photography & Promotional Use

The resort may occasionally capture photographs/videos of resort premises, public events, or activities for marketing purposes.

Guests may notify management if they do not wish to be featured.

13. Website Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Misuse website systems
  • Submit false booking information

14. Limitation of Liability

Shambhala Lake View Resort shall not be responsible for:

  • Theft or loss of valuables
  • Personal injury arising from negligence or misuse of facilities
  • Force majeure events including natural calamities, government restrictions, or transport disruptions

15. Force Majeure

The resort shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Floods
  • Weather disruptions
  • Government restrictions
  • Power failures
  • Pandemic-related limitations

16. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
